Byzantine 8x10 oil on canvas







I am a little like this ol'fellow right here "gathering information" for my answers to the question what makes a good painting and as soon as I figure it out (hopefully soon) I would like to put it to some use.

Great piece!! It reminds me of myself appreciating the artwork at the National Art Gallery this past summer. Of course.... I'm a girl and a little younger...lol!

great pose and that light that floods the whole composition; what makes a good painting? i don't think there is really an answer to that... is there? love to know if you find out:)
