Displaced 8x10 oil on panel

I painted for a good portion of the day today and was able to finish this one, a poignant scene of something that I fear has become much to common. Comes in a gold  accent wood frame SOLD ...IL

You've painted an emotion that is not easily portrayed on canvas so well, I see this almost a symbol trials and tribulations of our aging population.

Poignant indeed! This is really beautiful and yet somehow heartbreaking all at the same time. I love the techniques you used on this painting to give it a bit of that classic look. The painting below is wonderful too (I really do not see any flaws with the plate!)...I like the bit of fun you've had with the artist folks!

Well done, David, and it brings to mind a social problem that is too easy to ignore. Your choice of color makes it all the more effective.
