Reading 11x14 oil on canvas




I think I will do more of these simple paintings of people all alone in their favorite chair. this one is me on my great leather friend I got at a thrift store on half off day $25 This painting is SOLD

Good one David. Love the pose,and the darks against the slick leather, the hand and and the raw canvas in the background. Very expressive.

David, I love this piece. I cannot explain why, but this reminds me of Norman Rockwell's work. Love that leather chair; what a bargain!

Love this David! The composition is so good...I like the way you isolated the subject. Gives it a sense of his being very absorbed in his book. I agree with Shelia. Looks like a self-portrait. Very well done!
