Starting with the inspiration I do a basic sketch with a paint pen that I can see even as I wipe on Paynes Grey.this is one of my favorite painting techniques ... taking paint mixed with Liquin applied with a rag then use rag ,q tips and a brush to wipe toward a refined image which I will let it dry overnight . Tomorrow I will glaze and paint in more colors until its finished.

Love this! I used this technique for my 'header' pic, Asleep, but I liked it so I took it no further!
