The Tomlinson Ranch 9x12 oil on hardboard in gold wood frame

My grandfather was a farmer and about 10 miles from my studio is the land he worked , it is still in the family. . My uncle now has a ranch on an eighth of the original property.

Really beautiful work, David! Love the water, the creamy bank and the contrast of light and dark in the trees. I could easily see this hanging on a Museum wall!

This scene reminds me of Texas in the hill country. You did a great job capturing the mood of the scene. Love the colors in the water.
