Hi David, I don't know if you are aware that for the past few weeks your thumbnail is not appearing on the "following" lists. I see your title, a blank space for the thumbnail, and then it shows your prose.
I smiled, too. You did this very well. Does painting a still life just not interest you as subject matter? They are my favorite, both to try to paint and to view.

Well, it's beautiful! Among many things I like about it, that nice soft edge in the background, I've zoomed in to see it nice and close.
I love the star pattern on ceramics or anything - it looks great here.
