Back from Town 8x10 oil on hardboard framed

This months StreetViewPaintOff is for Prague and after much running around town via streetview I came up with this work. My link to the photo. I was analyzing why I like this painting and I think the golden mean has a bit to do with it , a ratio in art 1.61 not exact but  it seems I may have used it accidentally. SOLD

Ooh! very nice scene. It reads well in the thumbnail as well as up close.

Wow David! I am immediately caught by the dichotomy of a dusty looking old town up against the so close city beyond. For some reason, I sense a heat and warmth here (weather wise)...Awesome piece!

Agree with AutumnLeaves, the very blue distant buildings conjures up brilliant sunlight..very clever.
