The Stream 12x16 oil on linen panel in dark wood frame

I started this work with the intentions of having a nude bather in the stream but I am quite happy with the water as is and may or may not add the bather later...as usual a tweak here and there , always.

This is lovely, just as it is. It's fresh and MOVES.

The water is excellent. I find mine looks flat and uninteresting compared to yours. I'm envious.

Brrr...looks like cold water! I can almost see an old miner type sitting down in this stream (back to the viewer, of course) with a back scrubber in hand and at work on his back! The imagination is a beautiful thing!

Would the nude bather detract from that glorious dancing bright water? This is lovely
