My, you do burn the midnight oil! How did you feel the next day? Anyway, I think this is lovely; the limited palette suits it? Are you using true black? I didn't use it for the longest time, but i have found I need to use it (sparingly) to get the darkest darks the way i want them.
I like the gesture and the door in the background. It really is a wonderful painting!! I am impressed that you stayed up all night to finish it! Well done!!
