Without 8x10 oil on panel in darkwood frame

Its easy to paint light compared to painting darkness. The exercise here was to explore different ways to paint the dark shadow area. Paynes Grey and Transparent Red Oxide make for interesting shadow in the nudes. The web image before you is quite different than the original ...color wise . I do my best to match the colors of the original for the blog but then no matter because each monitor viewing the image is different.   SOLD...(ME)
