Spotted Owl 6.5x6.5 etching

I had visited the Sonora Desert awhile back and was fortunate to take a photo of this little fellow, I am not sure if this work is finished so we will let it sit for a bit while I study it closer.

I have only the vaguest idea about etching, but this looks pretty damned clever to me! He looks all cute end cuddly....til you look at those eyes!
